The operation led to the seizure of 62 kg of tobacco products and the arrest of three individuals involved in the illegal storage and sale of these items.
The police received confidential information about the storage and sale of tobacco products in a residential property. Upon investigation, they discovered various brands of tobacco products, including Vimal, Hans, and Ganesh, stocked for sale.
The three arrested individuals were identified as Manikantan (45) from Subramaniam Nagar in Chinnaveadampatti, Balaji (35) from Ganapathy Rajiv Gandhi Road, and Ramkumar (32) from Ganapathy Mookambigai Nagar. All three were taken into custody for their involvement in the illegal tobacco trade.
