Public Grievance Redressal Camp Held at Coimbatore District Police Superintendent's Office

A public grievance redressal camp was conducted at the Coimbatore District Police Superintendent's office on July 10, addressing 82 petitions related to family disputes, financial issues, and land conflicts.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Police Superintendent's office hosted a public grievance redressal camp on Monday (July 10), chaired by District Superintendent of Police Badrinarayanan. The event aimed to address various issues faced by the local residents.

During the camp, officials examined and re-examined 82 petitions concerning family disputes, financial transactions, and land-related issues. Out of these, First Information Reports (FIRs) were registered for three petitions, while two petitions were recorded with petition receipts. Seventy-four petitions were resolved amicably, and eight were recommended for further investigation.



The camp saw the participation of Additional District Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendents of Police, and Police Inspectors. These officials took necessary steps to resolve the public's complaint petitions, demonstrating the police department's commitment to addressing citizens' concerns.

The grievance redressal camp serves as a platform for the public to directly interact with senior police officials and seek solutions to their problems. Such initiatives aim to build trust between the police and the community, ensuring prompt and fair resolution of various issues faced by the residents of Coimbatore district.
