Power Outage Announced for Tomorrow in Arasur, Kallimadai, and Kathirnaickenpalayam Areas

Electricity Board announces power cuts in various parts of Coimbatore on July 5, 2024, from 9 AM to 5 PM due to monthly maintenance work at three substations.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has announced power outages in several areas of Coimbatore district on July 5, 2024, due to scheduled monthly maintenance work at three substations. The affected areas include parts of Arasur, Kallimadai, and Kathirnaickenpalayam.

At the Arasur substation, maintenance work will result in power cuts from 9 AM to 4 PM. The areas affected include Arasur, Pothiyampalayam, Kurumbapalayam, Thennampalayam, Sengodagoundanputhur, Sellapampalayam, Pachapalayam, Vadukapalayam, Sangothipalayam, Samathuvapuram, Anbu Nagar, Annur Road, Ponnandampalayam, and Molapalayam.

The Kallimadai substation maintenance will cause power interruptions from 9 AM to 5 PM in areas such as Kamarajar Road, Bharathi Nagar, Sakthi Nagar, Jothi Nagar, Ramanuja Nagar, Neelikanampalayam, Krishnapuram, Singanallur, G.V. Residency, Uppilipalayam, Indira Nagar, Balan Nagar, Sarkarai Chettyar Nagar, NGR Nagar, Hope College to Airport, Varadarajapuram, Nandha Nagar, Housing Unit, Ondipudur (partial), Masakalipalayam, and Medical College Road.

Kathirnaickenpalayam substation work will affect power supply from 9 AM to 5 PM in Rockipalayam, Kumarapuram, Narasimmanaickenpalayam, Bombay Nagar, Teachers Colony, Ganesh Nagar, Sri Naram Nagar, Kathirnaickenpalayam, and Thoppampatti areas.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly for the scheduled power outages.
