Coimbatore to Host Food Industry Exhibition from July 3 to July 5

From July 3 to 5, Coimbatore will host a major food industry exhibition at CODISSIA trade fair complex, inaugurated by Dairy Development Minister Mano Thangaraj.


Coimbatore: A significant food industry exhibition will take place in Coimbatore from July 3 to July 5 at the CODISSIA trade fair complex. Dairy Development Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mano Thangaraj, is set to inaugurate the event on July 3. This event aims to showcase the latest technologies in food, baking, food processing equipment, and catering sectors primarily for businesses across South India.

The exhibition includes the ninth edition of HoReCa Expo (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering & Café), the fifteenth edition of Bakers Technology Fair, the third edition of Food & Drink Processing Expo, the second edition of Dairy Processing Expo, and the third edition of India Food Pack Expo.

Previously held in Telangana, this year’s exhibition has been shifted to Tamil Nadu and is now taking place in Coimbatore. The event is expected to provide a platform for over 300 exhibitors from across India and eight other countries including Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, and several Gulf nations. Of these exhibitors, more than 100 are from Coimbatore while the others are from various parts of Tamil Nadu.



T.P. Rangaraj, the chairman of Maathampatty Group, attended the event as a special guest and unveiled announcements regarding the exhibition. Speaking on the event, Synergy Exposures’ Director Brijesh Edwards and Vice President Sasi Kumar noted that this year's expo would feature international brands from Spain, Italy, Germany, the USA, and the UK showcasing their products alongside new product launches. The expo is anticipated to attract over 20,000 visitors.

This event is supported by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), All India Food Processors' Association (AIFPA), National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM-Thanjavur), South Indian Hotel and Restaurant Association (SIHRA), Food Service Consultants Association of India (FSCAI), South Indian Culinary Association (SICA), and Tamil Nadu Association of Cottage and Micro Enterprises (TACME).
