Thozhamai Foundation Distributes Nutritious Foods to Cancer Patients at Coimbatore Government Hospital

The Thozhamai Foundation provided nutritional aid to cancer patients at Coimbatore Government Hospital on June 30, 2024, featuring guests from local government and community activists.


Coimbatore: On June 30, 2024, the Thozhamai Foundation organized an event at the Coimbatore Government Hospital, where they distributed nutritious food items to cancer patients undergoing treatment. The items included pomegranates, oranges, watermelon, plantain, whole wheat bread, sugarless biscuits, dates, and rusks.








Founder Priyadarshini Thangaraj, along with Deputy Tahsildar M. Muthu Manickam from the Collector's Office, UK Ummar of the Coimbatore Minority Department (Congress), and social activists M. Suresh Babu, Sajith Rahman of R-Me Designers, and Abdul Mannan participated. They not only distributed these health-supportive foods but also spent time inquiring about the patients' wellbeing and prayed for their speedy recovery.






In closing remarks, Priyadarshini Thangaraj emphasized the foundation's ongoing commitment to supporting cancer-affected individuals at the hospital and raising public awareness about the impacts of cancer.
