College Students Lead Environmental Awareness Rally in Coimbatore

College students from Coimbatore carried banners and slogans about environmental protection from NavIndia area to the same road, raising awareness among the public.


Coimbatore: A significant environmental awareness rally was held in Coimbatore, with over 200 participants, including college students from Sri Ramakrishna Women’s College and Nirmala College, as well as NGOs and activists.



The students marched from the NavIndia area to the same road, carrying banners and placards emphasizing the importance and urgency of environmental protection.



The rally aimed to educate the public on environmental issues and promote sustainable practices among the community. Participants chanted and displayed messages urging the public to take actionable steps towards environmental conservation. The event also saw the involvement of private volunteer organizations, highlighting a community-driven approach to environmental activism.
