Coimbatore Mayor Thanks Tamil Nadu CM for Sanctioning International Cricket Stadium

Mayor of Coimbatore Kalpana Anandakumar expressed gratitude to Tamil Nadu CM and Sports Minister for approving a 20.72-acre international cricket stadium in Ondipudur.


Coimbatore: The city of Coimbatore is set to host an international cricket stadium as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Makkaludan Mudhalvar and Sports Development Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin have approved the construction of a new stadium spanning 20.72 acres in the Ondipudur region.



Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar took to her Facebook page on June 26 to extend her thanks to both the CM and the Sports Minister for their pivotal roles in bringing this significant project to Coimbatore. She highlighted the potential benefits to the local community and the boost it could give to sports development in the region.
