District Grievance Day Meeting Held at Coimbatore Collector Office

The Coimbatore District Collector's office hosted the District Grievance Day meeting on June 24, where Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati addressed public petitions and directed swift actions.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Collector's office witnessed an essential assembly of public grievance resolution on June 24. District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati engaged with the public, receiving various petitions regarding civic and administrative concerns. He directed the related officials to expedite the processing of these requests.


During the meeting, attended by numerous officials including Revenue Officer Sharmila, the public presented petitions for a range of needs such as land transfers, new family cards, and house site pattas.


The petitions included 105 requests for free housing, 215 for residential pattas, 7 for employment opportunities, and another 280 miscellaneous requests, totaling 607. The Collector ordered that these be handed over to the respective department officials for urgent action.


Furthermore, on the occasion, the Collector also distributed state identity cards to 52 transgender individuals and comprehensive medical insurance cards to 22, under initiatives of the social welfare and women's rights departments.
