New Classrooms Inaugurated at Vellakinar Municipal Corporation Primary School

Two new classrooms and restrooms, built at a cost of Rs. 45 lakhs at Vellakinar Municipal Corporation Primary School, were inaugurated by Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar today, in the presence of local dignitaries and students.


Coimbatore: In a significant boost to local education infrastructure, two newly constructed classrooms, along with restrooms worth Rs. 45 lakhs, were inaugurated at the Vellakinar Municipal Corporation Primary School, under Ward No. 2 of the North Zone, Coimbatore. The inauguration ceremony was led by the respected Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar today.




In her address, Mayor Anandakumar highlighted the council's commitment to enhancing educational facilities in the region. She stressed the importance of providing students with modern and comfortable learning environments to foster their educational growth.






Attending the event were the North Zone Chairman V. Kathirvel, regional party secretary Arulkumar, and council members Karphagam, Pushpamani, and Chitra, along with other municipal officials. The ceremony was marked by traditional festivities, including the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Mayor Anandakumar, symbolizing enlightenment and knowledge.






The new classrooms are equipped with modern facilities and are expected to accommodate over 100 students, offering them a conducive environment for learning. The restrooms have also been modernized, ensuring basic sanitation and hygiene for all students.





The local community has expressed gratitude towards the city corporation and the mayor for their continued efforts in improving the educational standards in Vellakinar. Parents and teachers alike are hopeful that these new facilities will play a significant role in the educational development of their children.
