Coimbatore: A protest was held in Coimbatore by various organizations condemning the central government, citing numerous irregularities in the NEET examination.



The protest highlighted ongoing discontent since the implementation of NEET in Tamil Nadu.



The demonstration in Coimbatore was organized by Periyarist, Marxist, and Dravidian groups.



Protesters claimed that NEET discriminates against students nationwide, particularly Tamil Nadu students.



They demanded either the cancellation of NEET or the granting of authority to state governments to manage entrance examinations. Accusations were also made about the sale of NEET question papers.
