Health Minister Ma Subramanian Announces New Opportunities for Medical Graduates at Coimbatore Medical Colleges

Health Minister Ma Subramanian declared that recent medical graduates can now apply for various vacant positions in Tamil Nadu, during a convocation ceremony held at Coimbatore Government Medical College.



Coimbatore: During the convocation ceremony at Coimbatore Government Medical College, Health Minister Ma Subramanian announced significant updates for the medical community.



Addressing both recent graduates of Coimbatore Government Medical College and ESI Medical College, the Minister distributed degrees to 146 and 88 doctors respectively, signifying their transition from students to medical professionals.



The Minister highlighted the Tamil Nadu government’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services under the administration of CM MK Stalin, including the allocation of increased funds for healthcare developments. He emphasized that these improvements are not only for urban centers but also enhance facilities at grassroots levels such as in rural health centers.



In his speech, Minister Subramanian appreciated the introduction of various new projects in the healthcare sector, which have significantly improved the welfare of the people. He noted that local health centers have been upgraded to ensure that even those in rural areas benefit from primary health facilities and lifesaving medicines are available for emergencies such as snake bites and rabies.

Furthermore, the Minister mentioned that the state now boasts the launching of unique healthcare projects like the free in vitro fertilization centers in government hospitals, making this crucial service accessible to the poor.

The notable announcement made by the Health Minister included the opening of 2553 vacant medical positions across the state, encouraging the newly graduated doctors to apply. This initiative is expected to bring more energetic and dedicated professionals into the healthcare system aiming to ensure better health services across Tamil Nadu.
