NEET 2024 Results Stir Genuine Allegations of Scams

NEET 2024 results have sparked controversies, with claims of identical scores at a Haryana exam centre and 67 students securing perfect scores. Questions arise over NTA's grace marks calculation.

Coimbatore: The release of the NEET 2024 results has sparked widespread controversies, bringing the exam's integrity into question. A group of students has come forward alleging multiple irregularities, which they claim hints at potential scams within the examination process. According to the complaints, around 6-7 students from the same exam center in Haryana have ended up with identical marks and percentiles. These students, whose roll numbers sequentially follow one another, have highlighted the rarity and suspicious nature of such occurrences.

In another concerning report, approximately 67 candidates have achieved the perfect score of 720 out of 720, all securing Rank 1. This unprecedented number of top scores has raised doubts and led to allegations of discrepancies in the scoring system. Compounding the students' concerns is an announcement from the National Testing Agency (NTA), which stated that it awarded 'grace marks' due to lost exam time during the session. However, the NTA has not disclosed the formula used to calculate these grace marks, adding to the confusion and mistrust among the examinees.
