DMK Candidate Ganapathi Rajkumar Leads in Coimbatore; BJP's Annamalai Faces Setback

In the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, DMK's Ganapathi Rajkumar leads in Coimbatore with 5127 votes, ahead of BJP's Annamalai who has 1852 votes. AIADMK's Singai Ramachandran trails with 1541 postal votes.


Coimbatore: As the Lok Sabha election vote counting progresses in Tamil Nadu's 39 constituencies, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has taken a lead in 14 seats. Notably, in Coimbatore, DMK candidate Ganapathi Rajkumar holds a significant lead with 5127 votes. Competing in the same constituency, state BJP leader Annamalai has garnered 1852 votes, currently placing him in second position. Following closely is AIADMK's candidate Singai Ramachandran, who has secured 1541 postal votes, placing him third in the ongoing count.


This election turnout has been pivotal in determining the political influence in Tamil Nadu, highlighting a strong performance by DMK across several constituencies. As the counting continues, more updates on the final election results are expected.
