Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity Concludes Tex Sevai with Multiple Charitable Contributions

On May 19, 2024, in Coimbatore, the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity completed its Tex Sevai initiative at Rotary Texcity Hall. The event featured various donations like wheelchairs and laptops, significantly impacting the community.


Coimbatore: The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity is proud to announce the successful wrap-up of its Tex Sevai initiative, held on May 19, 2024, at the renowned Rotary Texcity Hall in Coimbatore. This ambitious project once again demonstrated the club's dedication to enhancing community wellbeing through a series of planned activities focusing on diverse needs.



The initiatives covered in this year's Tex Sevai included the donation of wheelchairs, smart fans to schools, organic napkins to a girls' orphanage, battery sprayers for agricultural workers, a sewing machine for craftworkers, and a laptop for a student.



With an allocated budget of 100,000 INR, the funds were carefully distributed to maximize the impact of each contribution.



The event showcased the true spirit of volunteerism as Rotaractors from different clubs came together. It was spearheaded by President Rtr. Maikchelraj with notable support from Rtr. Arjun and Rtr. PHF. Thanghapantieyaan. The program was gracefully hosted by Rtr. Roshna of the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Cotton City, whose exceptional presentation skills enriched the event's ambiance.

Distinguished guests like Chief Guest Rtn. Hema from Rotary Club of Coimbatore Aakruthi, District Secretary Rtr. Abhijeeth, District Professional Service Director Rtr. Subash, District Priority Projects Chair Rtr. Aghil, and Group Rotaract Representative Rtr. Gogul lent their presence and support, further motivating the participants. Such endorsements highlight the community’s recognition of the Rotaract Club's efforts and their influence in fostering a culture of generosity and altruism within the district.

Through initiatives like Tex Sevai, the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity champions the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self," serving as an inspiring example of how community collaboration can create substantial, positive change.
