Multilevel Committee Meeting Held Under the Leadership of District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati in Coimbatore

A significant multilevel committee meeting was convened at the Coimbatore District Collector's office today, led by District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, focusing on educational sector improvements for the academic year 2023-24.


Coimbatore: Today in Coimbatore, a crucial multilevel committee meeting regarding the educational sector took place at the District Collector's office under the supervision of District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, IAS.



The meeting saw the presence of significant officials including City Police Commissioner V. Balakrishnan, IPS, District Superintendent of Police V. Badri Narayanan, IPS, Corporation Commissioner Sivaguru prabakaran, IAS, Additional Collector (Development) Swethasuman, IAS, Pollachi Sub-Collector Ketrin Saranya, IAS, among others.

During this meeting, discussions were held on ensuring 100% enrollment of students who passed the 12th grade public exams into higher education for the academic year 2023-24. Furthermore, strategies were formulated to address the 5,662 children who have been irregular or absent from school by directly engaging their parents and students, emphasizing the importance of education through personalized interventions from all department officials.

The officials were instructed to reintegrate students who did not clear or attend the 10th and 12th public exams and to provide them with special coaching to ensure their participation in forthcoming compensatory exams. The meeting also emphasized the implementation of comprehensive measures by educational officers to continuously motivate students to pursue uninterrupted education and raise awareness regarding the dangers of drug use among students.
