Two Arrested for Possession and Sale of Ganja in Karumathampatti

On May 13, police conducted a raid near Sellaipalayam, Karumathampatti, based on a tip-off and arrested two men for possessing and intending to sell 1.35 kilograms of Ganja.


Coimbatore: Following a confidential tip-off received today, the local police carried out a raid near Sellaipalayam in the Karumathampatti area. During the operation, two individuals identified as Rajasekar, son of Ayyappillai from Thanjavur, and Malik Basha, son of Sultan Moideen from Madurai were apprehended. The police seized 1 kilogram and 350 grams of Ganja from their possession. Both individuals were subsequently placed under judicial custody, facing charges related to the possession and intent to distribute illegal substances. The operation highlights ongoing efforts to tackle drug-related activities in the region.
