Coimbatore: Park College of Engineering and Technology, located in Kaniyur, Coimbatore, witnessed the grand opening of the "ZERO G" Inter Collegiate Cultural Festival on May 12, 2024. Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO of Park Institutions, inaugurated the festival that is expected to draw participation from students of nearly 50 colleges.

Dr. Lakshmanan, the Principal of Park College of Engineering and Technology, commenced the event with a warm welcome to the attendees. The event also included the presentation of the annual reports of Park College of Engineering and Technology (PCET) and Park College of Technology (PCT) by Dr. Lakshmanan and Dr. Kumaresan, respectively.

In her inaugural address, Dr. Anusha, elaborated on the unique choice of the name “Zero G” for the festival. She explained that the name symbolizes the concept of students shedding their burdens to enjoy and embrace the fun-filled activities over the two days. Notably, the festival coincided with Mothers' Day, adding sentimental value to the occasion.

Dr. Anusha took the opportunity to honor her mother, Mrs. Prema Ravi, co-founder of Park Institutions, urging students to seek their mothers' blessings before embarking on any endeavor. She inspired the students by advising them to emulate the renewing nature of flowers and plants and to approach each day with freshness and enthusiasm, leaving behind past failures.
