Kongunadu College Offers Three Years Free Education to Transgender Student in Coimbatore

In Coimbatore, a transgender student named Ajitha who scored 373 in her 12th standard public exams has been given free admission for three years to study BSc Psychology at Kongunadu Arts and Science College.


Coimbatore: In an encouraging move for inclusive education, Kongunadu Arts and Science College has granted three years of free education to a transgender student, Ajitha. Achieving 373 marks in her 12th standard public examinations, Ajitha has secured a spot in the BSc Psychology course without any tuition fees for the entire duration of the program.


The application for Ajitha’s admission was handed over by CA Vasuki, the Secretary and Director of Kongunadu College, on May 9th, recognizing her academic merits and supporting her educational aspirations.
