Coimbatore: In a tragic incident, a municipal worker, Chandrasekaran, lost his life in a road accident in Udumalai, Tirupur district. Chandrasekaran, who was employed as an electrical lineman with the local municipality, was returning to the office via the Udumalai flyover bridge when his motorcycle collided with an oncoming motorcycle while descending the bridge. He was thrown off his bike and died on the spot. Udumalai police retrieved his body and sent it to Udumalai Government Hospital for autopsy.
