Cellphone Store Owner Stabbed Near Singanallur, Coimbatore

Dinesh, a 29-year-old cellphone store owner, was stabbed while heading home in Singanallur, Coimbatore. Two persons are wanted by the police following the incident.


Coimbatore: In an alarming incident near Singanallur, a cellphone store owner was stabbed during an altercation. Dinesh, 29, operates a cellphone store in Ramanujam Nagar, Vasantha Mill Road, Singanallur, and became the victim of a violent attack last evening, May 2.




While locking up his store and riding home on his bike, Dinesh was intercepted by two individuals on a motorcycle. An argument ensued and one of the attackers stabbed Dinesh. Alerted by the commotion, bystanders rushed to the scene, prompting the assailants to flee.




Severely injured, Dinesh was admitted to a private hospital in Coimbatore. Following the attack, he filed a police report, leading to a case being registered by the Singanallur police. Efforts are underway to locate the two suspects who are currently at large.
