Kovai Kutralam Attracts Large Number of Tourists During Summer Vacation

Amid the summer heat and vacation season, a surge in tourist footfall has been witnessed at Kovai Kutralam in Coimbatore, with families flocking to enjoy the refreshing waterfalls.


Coimbatore: The onset of the summer vacation coupled with the intensifying heat has led to a significant influx of tourists at all the tourist spots across Coimbatore district. Notably, Kovai Kutralam has become a popular destination during this period, where people from various places, along with their families, have descended in large numbers.

Kovai Kutralam, located near Saadivayal in Coimbatore, has seen an increased visitor count due to the scorching heat. The region's scenic waterfalls and pleasant environment make it an ideal spot for relief from the summer temperatures.



Families and groups have been spending prolonged periods bathing and reveling in the waterfalls. In response, the Forest Department has ramped up its monitoring efforts to ensure the safety and security of all visitors.

Additional vehicles have been arranged to manage the transportation needs of the tourists flocking to the waterfall.



The visitors enjoyed refreshing dips in the waterfall queues, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the day.



According to the Forest Department, over a thousand visitors have thronged Kovai Kutralam in a single day, highlighting its attraction during the peak season.
