Special Bus Services Announced in Coimbatore Ahead of Parliamentary Elections

Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Limited announces special bus services on April 17 and 18 to facilitate voters due to the upcoming parliamentary elections.


Coimbatore: In light of the upcoming parliamentary elections, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Coimbatore) Limited has today announced the operation of special bus services from Coimbatore and neighboring towns to various distant locations. These services are set to facilitate voters of the region to conveniently reach their respective polling stations.



These additional services will be operational on April 17 and April 18, strategically scheduled before the election day on April 19, 2024. According to the announcement, Gandhipuram Bus Stand will initiate 120 special trips, and Singanallur Bus Stand will orchestrate 200 special trips during these dates. This initiative is aimed at ensuring that all eligible voters can participate in the electoral process without transportation hindrances.

These special buses are in addition to the regular bus services already plying on these routes, further augmenting the available public transport facilities to accommodate the expected increase in passenger traffic due to the elections.
