BJP Candidate Annamalai Campaigns in Coimbatore, Emphasizes Governance on Ambedkar's Principles

On April 14th, BJP candidate Annamalai campaigned in Coimbatore, engaging with residents and promising governance modelled after Ambedkar's vision. Joined by Vanathi Srinivasan and Sarath Kumar, he emphasized inclusive growth and social justice.


Coimbatore: In a significant move that galvanized local support, BJP candidate for Coimbatore Parliamentary constituency, Annamalai, kicked off his campaign today in areas including Govanur Basti, Periyanayakanpalayam, Thudiyalur, Maniyakaranpalayam, and others. The campaign was marked by a ceremonious homage to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his birthday, underlying the campaign's alignment with Ambedkar's principles of social justice and equality.



Annamalai, addressing the public, articulated his commitment to perpetuate the dreams and visions of Dr. Ambedkar, emphasizing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance over the past decade has been characterized by enhanced social equity and representation in the cabinet, including members from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and women. He assured the public of his party's dedication to follow the path laid out by Ambedkar.

Local political figures such as Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan and actor-turned-politician Sarath Kumar participated, expressing their joy over the supportive crowd and their shared commitment to Annamalai's vision. Amidst raging cheers, Annamalai reinforced his allegiance to Modi's developmental policies, projecting Modi's potential third term as a cornerstone for India's future growth.



The BJP candidate's discourse also touched upon local concerns, promising resolutions for enduring issues like employment for youth, housing for tribal communities, water supply management, and infrastructural enhancements under the Smart Cities mission. Annamalai concluded by urging local citizens to strengthen Modi's hands in the upcoming elections, envisioning a thriving democratic and development-centric governance emanating from Coimbatore.
