This is not a contest, it’s a battle to preserve Tamil Identity and Progress: Minister TRB Rajaa

At a gathering in Singanallur supporting DMK candidate Ganapathy Rajkumar for Coimbatore Parliamentary constituency, TRB Raja emphasized the election is not just a contest but a battle to preserve Tamil identity and progress.

Coimbatore: In a spirited assembly of DMK activists at Singanallur yesterday, rallying behind Coimbatore Parliamentary constituency DMK candidate Ganapathy Rajkumar, the party showcased its unity and resolve. The event, led by DMK urban district secretary Na. Karthik, was marked by a rousing speech from Tamil Nadu Minister for Industries, TRB Raja.

Raja stressed that Tamil Nadu stands as a unique state in India, a fact not fully grasped by those in the North. He declared the victory in the upcoming election as certain but cautioned against complacency, urging every day as an opportunity to bring voters under the DMK fold. The Minister highlighted the reasons to support DMK and Chief Minister MK Stalin, emphasizing the importance of conveying these reasons to the people.

Pointing out the opposition, he labeled the BJP and AIADMK as threats to Tamil culture, urging to educate the public about the dangers they pose. Raja’s speech also touched on DMK's vision of development for Coimbatore, including significant advancements like the airport expansion, predicting unprecedented industrial growth for the region.

"This is not just an election; it's a war," Raja stated, framing the contest as a fight against forces threatening Tamil identity and progress. He rallied the DMK cadre to work tirelessly for a victory that would honor the legacies of Periyar, Anna, and Kalaignar, and set the stage for Coimbatore's future development under the DMK leadership.
