Park College of Technology Hosts 5-Day FDTP on Engineering Graphics

Park College of Technology, Coimbatore, has launched a five-day Faculty Development and Training Program (FDTP) focused on Engineering Graphics, aiming to enhance the pedagogical skills of faculty members from various engineering institutions across Tamil Nadu.


Coimbatore: Park College of Technology, located in Prema Ravi Nagar, Karumathampatti, has embarked on a five-day Faculty Development and Training Program (FDTP) dedicated to Engineering Graphics. This initiative is specifically designed for faculty members to refine their teaching methodologies in the subject.

The FDTP was inaugurated on March 20, 2024, by Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO of Park Group of Institutions, in the College Seminar Hall. The event underscored the institution's commitment to enhancing the pedagogical expertise of young faculty members. A noteworthy participation of 42 faculty members from various engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu was recorded, signifying a wide interest in the program.



Dr. NV Dhandapani, Managing Director of Mech Dek Design Company, Coimbatore, graced the event as the Chief Guest. His insights were anticipated to add significant value to the discussions and learning outcomes of the program. The organization and successful execution of the FDTP were attributed to the collaborative efforts of Dr. K Kumaresan, Principal of Park College of Technology, Dr. Harish, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, and Professor Raja, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at PCT.

This FDTP on Engineering Graphics is a strategic effort by Park College of Technology to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application. It aims to equip faculty members with innovative teaching techniques, thereby enhancing the quality of education provided to future engineers.
