In Thondamuthur near Coimbatore, a Resurgence Conference organized by the North Coimbatore District Congress took place on Feb 25 at a private wedding hall, featuring speeches emphasizing employment, education, and political strategies.

Coimbatore: A significant political event, the Resurgence Conference of the North Coimbatore District Congress, was organized today, February 25, in Thondamuthur, near Coimbatore, at a private wedding hall. The conference saw the participation of key figures from the Congress party, aiming to revitalize and assert the party's presence and agenda in the region.

The conference was chaired by Akash, the North Coimbatore District Youth Congress President, and initiated with a welcoming address by the State Youth Congress Vice President Naveen Kumar. The event was graced by the presence of VMC Manohar, the President of the North Coimbatore District Congress, who delivered a special address.

One of the highlights of the conference was the speech by Tamil Nadu Youth Congress Coordinator Vichu Lenin Prasad. He emphasized the need for the Congress party to contest in the upcoming elections within the Coimbatore and Pollachi parliamentary constituencies, specifically advocating for Rahul Gandhi to contest from the Coimbatore constituency. The conference underscored the party's commitment to various issues, including the demand for Rahul Gandhi's candidacy, as a strategic move to strengthen the party's electoral prospects.

In addition to political strategies, the conference addressed several socioeconomic issues. Speakers expressed gratitude towards the Tamil Nadu government for announcing a new IT park in Coimbatore worth 1100 crores, aimed at generating employment opportunities for the youth. However, concerns were raised about the denial of education loans to students while large corporations received significant tax concessions from the Modi government. The conference also highlighted the challenges faced by small and medium enterprises, the worsening economic conditions of the middle class, and criticized the central government's policies towards farmers and livestock.

The event concluded with discussions on various topics, including the alleged spread of communal politics by the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and the impact of such politics on society.
