Nilgiris MP A. Raja Provides Financial Aid to Families Affected by Landslide in Lovedale, Ooty

In response to the tragic landslide in Lovedale, Gandhinagar, Ooty, that claimed six lives four days ago, Nilgiris MP A. Raja and Housing Minister S. Muthusamy provided financial assistance to the bereaved families.

Following a devastating landslide in Lovedale, Gandhinagar, Ooty, which resulted in the loss of six lives four days ago, families of the victims have received financial support. Nilgiris MP A. Raja announced the disbursement of INR 1 lakh per family, while Housing Minister S. Muthusamy contributed an additional INR 50,000 per family, offering solace during this difficult time.

The relief measure saw the participation of notable personalities including the Honorable Minister of Tourism K. Ramachandran, District Secretary P.A.M. Mubarak, and other party officials. The gesture aims to provide immediate financial assistance to those affected by the natural calamity, underscoring the government and local leaders' commitment to support their constituents in times of crisis.
