35-year-old woman admitted to Coimbatore GH with 80 percent burn injuries

She went to the kitchen this morning to cook, she turned on the switch to turn on the lamp. Due to the leakage in the gas cylinder, the fire broke out suddenly and bhagyalakshmi's body also caught fire.



A 35-year-old woman has been admitted to a government hospital in Coimbatore with 80 per cent burn injuries after a fire broke out due to a gas leak near Peelamedu in Coimbatore.

Senthil Kumar hails from Neerpanthal near Peelamedu in Coimbatore. He is survived by his wife Bhagyalakshmi (35). They have a 14-year-old son. Senthilkumar is said to have separated from Bhagyalakshmi eight years ago due to differences of opinion. Bhagyalakshmi lives with his son and runs a road flower shop in the same area.

She suffered 80 per cent burn injuries and was rushed to the Coimbatore Government Hospital. Peelamedu police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
