BJP petitions District collectorate that People should be made aware of amrut 2.0 project

The BJP Nagar Mandal in Periyanaickenpalayam has taken a bold step by filing a petition at the Coimbatore district collectorate to ensure full transparency regarding the AMRUT 2.0 project. The petition asks for the people to be made aware of all the details of this important project so that there is no room for misinformation.


Coimbatore: A petition has been submitted before the Coimbatore district collectorate on behalf of the BJP Nagar Mandal in Periyanaickenpalayam, seeking to make the people fully aware of the AMRUT 2.0 project.



The petition, filed under the leadership of Periyanaickenpalayam BJP Nagar Mandal president Mahendra Raj, said, On The 1st, there was a news item on the social networking site "Namma Periyanaickenpalayam" facebook that work has started to improve the drinking water project under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme for the people of Periyanaickenpalayam special category town panchayat and when asked about the project, the town panchayat administration did not get a proper response.

There was no inauguration ceremony or bhoomi pooja for the project, and no notice board was placed. They also stated that they do not know when the project will be launched. "People are not fully aware of whether the scheme is a central government scheme or a state government scheme, and the truth about it should be revealed to the people," he said.
