RTO officials conducts surprise check on quality of private ambulance in Dharapuram

A surprise check was conducted on the license and quality of private ambulance vehicles operating in Dharapuram block. In the raid held in front of the government hospital, the officials seized two vehicles whose licences had expired and took them to the regional transport office.


Tirupur: A raid was conducted on the license and quality of private ambulance vehicles operating in Dharapuram area of Tirupur district.

More than 10 private ambulances are operating in and around Dharapuram. The Regional Transport Officer has ordered a check on the license and quality of these ambulance vehicles.



On the orders, a surprise check was conducted on more than 10 ambulance vehicles parked in front of the Dharapuram government hospital.



During the raid, the authorities seized two ambulance vehicles thatse licence had expired and took them to the regional transport office.



Moreover, motorists were advised not to use such ambulance vehicles without proper documentation.

Similarly, auto-rickshaws, vehicles plying at night without using headlights were also inspected by issuing audit reports.
