The Minister further added that “the allegations made by Jayaraman of Arappor Iyakkam regarding the TASMAC tender process should be taken back. Otherwise, legal action will be initiated against him”.

Coimbatore: TN Minister Senthil Balaji has issued a warning to “Arappor Iyakkam” to withdraw its allegations in the TASMAC tender process, levelled against the Minister, lest legal action would be initiated against the movement.

After inspecting the arrangements made for the thanksgiving ceremony organized by the power loom operators at Karumathampatti for Chief Minister M.K. Stalin tomorrow, Senthil Balaji told reporters:

"A felicitation function will be held at Karumathampatti on behalf of the power loom operators and weavers for the Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and thousands of weavers are participating in it. The preparations for the ceremony are going on well."

The Minister further added that “the allegations made by Jayaraman of Arappor Iyakkam regarding the TASMAC tender process should be taken back. Otherwise, legal action will be initiated against him”

“The usual procedure was followed in the annual tender for a total of Rs 96 crore from 43 godowns in Erode. Labelling it as Rs.1000 crore tender is an absurd allegation” the Minister said
