Coimbatore MLA Vanathi Srinivasan alleges that the TN Govt. is focusing only on Erode by-poll while neglecting other districts

Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan alleged that the Tamil Nadu government is focusing entirely on Erode by poll. It would be better if law and order in other districts are taken care of.

Coimbatore: A discussion meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India to discuss the newly- introduced scheme to create an infection-free environment which is implemented under the Ministry of Commerce.

In this meeting, strengthening disease prevention and improving wastewater management were highlighted.

National Productivity Council Director Sandip Kumar presided over the event, which was attended by industrialists.

Later speaking o reporters, Vanathi Srinivasan said “ Under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the scheme has been introduced in hospitals in Coimbatore, especially for nursing students. Accordingly, as many as 10 hospitals and nursing students in Coimbatore have been given free training on various subjects such as how to control infections, create infection-free conditions, etc”.

“For the first time in India, we have selected the Chamber of Commerce in the city and started it by donating Rs 25 lakh to them. Through this, the training will help in creating a safe and infection-free environment in the hospitals in the city” Vanathi Srinivasan said..

“A function has been organized to pay homage to those who lost their lives in the Coimbatore blasts this evening. BJP state president Annamalai will participate’ she said.

While talking about recent murders in the city she said “If the murder incident takes place close to the court premises, we can assume how bad the law and order situation is. We have been making these allegations in the past too” Vanathi said.

She also alleged that the government in Tamil Nadu is focusing entirely on Erode by poll. It would be better if law and order in other districts are taken care of.

“Even though we don't want to stop giving free electricity, the state government should make it clear who is getting, how much quantum of electricity,” Vanathi said.

“The opposition alleges that RSS is behind anything, yes it is true that RSS is behind the PM, RSS is behind the present ministers, all MLAs and MPs, what is wrong about it as RSS is not a terrorist organization,” she said and added “Are the RSS people plant bombs? No, it is only sociocultural movement. It would be nice if the opposition understood it and speak accordingly.
