Elephant blocks road near Sirumugai

A wild elephant stopped vehicles on the road in front of the Viscose plant near Sirumugai.

Coimbatore: An elephant stood in the middle of the road near Sirumugai for a long time and roamed around without giving way to vehicles. Motorists were shocked.

There is a non-functional Viscose plant near Sirumugai in Coimbatore district. As the plant has been lying idle for the past few years, trees have grown all over the campus and looks like a forest.

Since the Bhavani river is adjacent to the plant, the wild elephants have left the forest area and are camping in the factory.

In this situation, the wild elephant stopped in the middle of Mettupalayam Sathy main road in front of the viscose plant tonight.

After this, the wild elephant finally left the place and the motorists again left the place.
