VCK led alliance parties Human chain protest demanding social harmony in Tirupur

Leaders of secular parties like Congress, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and Communist Party of India (CPI) and CPI(M) led a human chain protest demanding social harmony.



Tirupur: A human chain of social harmony was held in Tirupur on behalf of all the parties to press for social harmony.



The human chain protest, which started in front of the Tirupur Corporation office, ended at the railway station.



The protest was led by VCK and leaders of secular allies such as the Congress, Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, Communist Party of India and others, who carried placards and raised slogans of protest.



Congress party leader Krishnan, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi district secretary, Tamilventhan, MDMK district secretary, Nagaraj, CPI district secretary, Ravichandran, CPI(M) secretary, Muthukannan, Manithaneya Makkal Katchi district secretary. Naseeruddin, Indian Union Muslim League district president Mustafa, Democratic Women's Association district vice-president Savitri, Tamil Nadu Vazhvurimai Katchi district secretary Santhosh, Tamil Tigers party and more than 1,000 people participated in the protest.
