Two peacocks electrocuted to death at two different places in Tirupur

On information from the locals, forest officials arrived at both spots to take away the dead peacocks.

In Tirupur and surrounding areas, peacocks stray into residential areas often.



A peacock accidentally got stuck in a transformer on TTP Mill Road in Tirupur and was electrocuted to death.



In another similar incident, a peacock was electrocuted after flying accidentally into an electric pole at Sarkar Periyapalayam on Uthukuli Road. On information from the locals, forest officials arrived at both spots to take away the dead peacocks.
