Advisory meeting held to discuss employment camps for rural women development in Pollachi

Pollachi M P Shanmugasundar stated that an employment camp will be held on June 29 in Pollachi to provide employment to rural women.


Coimbatore: A consultative meeting was held at the Pollachi DMK District Office, Coimbatore South District on conducting employment camps for the advancement of rural women.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Varadarajan, Coimbatore South District Officer. DMK executives including Chief General Committee member Amuthabhari and city youth organizer Thirumalai Raja were present.



Pollachi M P Shanmugasundaram who was present at the event said that the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu had approved the manufacturing of electronic spare parts to generate employment to 5000 women in rural areas.

On behalf of the people of Pollachi, he thanked the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and said that he was planning to hold the largest employment camps in the Udumalai area of Pollachi for the task of selecting 5,000 women.
