Mayor Kalpana Ananthakumar distributes yellow bags to public

Mayor Kalpana Ananthakumar has started the process of distributing yellow bags to the public on the buses at the Gandhipuram bus stand in the Central Zone of the Corporation.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Central Zone Gandhipuram Area, Mayor Kalpana Ananthakumar, Commissioner of the Corporation M. Pratap presided over the acceptance ceremony where the Pledge of the People's Movement for the Cleanliness of Cities (unsure) was taken



Similarly, Mayor Kalpana Ananthakumar started the work of painting art aimed to spread awareness about cleanliness on a pillar on the Gandhipuram flyover in the Central Zone of the Corporation.



In addition, Mayor Kalpana Ananthakumar inaugurated the work of distributing yellow bags to the public in the buses at the Gandhipuram bus stand in the Central Zone of the Corporation.



Later, Mayor Kalpana Ananthakumar launched the People's Movement for the Cleanliness of Cities in the Gandhipuram area of the Corporation Central Zone with the help of college students.



Meanwhile, Mayor Kalpana Ananthakumar distributed awareness leaflets on the buses at the Gandhipuram bus stand in the Central Zone of the Corporation, which contained the words "My garbage is my responsibility" to spread awareness about sorting compostable and compostable waste to the public.



She was accompanied by the Deputy Mayor R. Vetriselvan, the Deputy Commissioner M. Sharmila, the Central Regional Chairman Meenaloku, the Assistant Commissioner Shankar, the Corporation Municipal Officer Satish Kumar, the Council members Vidya Ramanathan and Prabha Raveendran, the Assistant Chief Engineer Bhuvaneswari and the Assistant Engineer Chandrakalan among many others.
