3 sovereign thaali chain snatched from a woman who went for a walk in Coimbatore – the police on the lookout for the unidentified persons who engaged in theft and escaped



Coimbatore: Karthikeyan hails from KR Puthur, NRG Street, Coimbatore, and is married to Saraswati (42). She usually went for a walk with family members in the evenings. As usual, she went for a walk last evening too.

When she approached the Syndicate apartments, in the Pusari Palaniappa street, two unidentified persons who were following her in a two-wheeler came near Saraswati and suddenly snatched the 3 sovereign gold thali chain around her neck and fled from the scene in the blink of an eye.

Following this, Saraswati lodged a complaint with the Saibaba Colony police. The Police have registered a case based on the complaint and are looking for the unidentified persons who engaged in theft and escaped. The police are also examining CCTV camera footage in the area.
