Devotees' offering totals Rs.20.72 lakh at Masaniyamman temple near Pollachi

Anaimalai Masaniyamman Temple, which is one of the most popular temples in the vicinity of Pollachi received Rs. 20.72 lakhs in the form of offerings from devotees this month.


Coimbatore: Anaimalai Masaniyamman Temple located near Pollachi is renowned in Coimbatore district. Devotees throng the temple on New Moon days and Fridays, with some devotees visiting the temple daily from nearby as well as distant places.



The offerings donated by the devotees who visit the temple are counted every month and the collection for this month was carried out in the presence of the Temple Assistant Commissioner Karunanidhi and Perur Assistant Commissioner Vimala. "In this process, it came to light that Rs. 20,72,229 was in the permanent and plate offerings donated by devotees,” announced the temple administration officials.
