Two youngsters killed in a gruesome road accident with a bus near Coimbatore Selvapuram

Two youngsters got stuck in the wheel of a government bus that tried to overtake them and died near Selvapuram Coimbatore



Coimbatore: Senthilkumar's son Manoj (19) hails from Coimbatore Peelamedu Savuripalayam Pillaiyar Kovil Road. He worked in a private mall in Saravanampatti.

He was traveling on Perur Road on his two-wheeler with Aarthi (19), daughter of Sivalingam, a resident of Puluvapatti Sri Lankan Refugee Camp. When they were passing near Selvapuram Thillai Nagar at that time, the no 56 government bus had tried to overtake them on the left side.

The two-wheeler then stumbled and fell on the road.



Manoj and Aarthi were trapped in the back wheel of the government bus and died on the spot.



Selvapuram police arrived at the scene and recovered their bodies and sent them to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for autopsy.

The Traffic Police are also investigating Prabhu, a resident of Dharapuram, Tirupur district, who was driving the government bus.
