CMCH trainee doctor killed in accident on Coimbatore-Madukkarai highway

The trainee doctor was returning to the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in her car after visiting her home in Madukkarai, when she was hit by a tanker lorry and died on the spot.



Coimbatore: A Coimbatore Government Medical College trainee doctor was killed on the spot when a tanker lorry collided with a car on the Coimbatore-Madukkarai Highway.

Ramasivani (22) is the daughter of Ramasikapathy from Madukkarai and was working as a trainee doctor in Coimbatore Government Medical College.



On Monday afternoon, Ramasivani visited her house in Madukkarai and while returning to the Coimbatore Government Medical College and Hospital, she was hit by a tanker lorry on the Madukkarai Highway.



Madukkarai police have registered a case and arrested Thillaiyarasan (44), the driver of a tanker lorry from Dindigul district.
