Health Inspectors confiscate prohibited plastics in Ward No.55 and 56, slap fines on shop owners for violation

The Health Inspectors confiscated about 2 kg of prohibited plastic materials and slapped a fine of Rs.500 on the shop owners.


Coimbatore: During a random inspection by Health Inspectors in Narayanasamy Layout under the Coimbatore Corporation East Zone, Singanallur, Ward No.55, a roadside shopping cart ‌was found selling plastic products prohibited by the Government of Tamil Nadu.



About 2 kg of prohibited plastic materials were confiscated and the owners were fined Rs.500.



In Ondipudur, Irugur Itteri Road, under the Coimbatore Corporation East Zone, Singanallur, Ward No.56, a number of shops were found selling plastic products prohibited by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The Health Inspectors confiscated about 2 kg of prohibited plastic materials and slapped a fine of Rs. 500 on the shop owners.
