Indian Railways to transport Gaja cyclone relief materials free of cost

Salem : The Indian Railways will be transporting relief materials to Gaja cyclone-hit districts from various parts of the country free of cost.

Salem : The Indian Railways will be transporting relief materials to Gaja cyclone-hit districts from various parts of the country free of cost. 

A release from the Southern Railways said that the Indian Railways has permitted inter-state free transport of relief materials to cyclone-affected districts through both Parcel van/VP/SLR and goods trains. Southern Railway stated that all Government organisations can book the service free of cost and other organizations, as deemed fit by Divisional Railway Managers, may also avail of this provision.
