According to the Udumalpet Municipality, water supply is being suspended for two days on September 21 and 22 owing to maintenance work being carried out at the Thirumoorthy Nagar head water pumping station.
Tirupur: Owing to maintenance of electric pumps at Thirumoorthy Nagar head water pumping station owned by the Udumalaipettai Municipality in Tirupur district, drinking water supply has been suspended for two days.
The maintenance work will be done to fix leakages in the pipes of the first and second water supply schemes which have to be rectified. Hence, the Udumalpet Municipal Administration issued a notice to the public advising them to store water for their daily usage.
