Electricity department to re-pay January electricity bill in Udumalai SV Puram

The electricity board has announced to pay the january amount for udumalai SV Puram and Komaralingam Perumal Puthur power connections as the current month's power calculation has not been done.


Tirupur: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has announced that people in SV Puram area near Udumalpet in Tiruppur district will pay back the electricity bills for the month of January.



Udumalai Divisional Executive Engineer Moorthy said in a statement,

In the SV Puram distribution lines under the SV Puram Division office in Udumalai Sub Division, Udumalai Electricity Distribution Circle, Udumalpet Sub-Division, about 1,600 power connections could not be counted for march 2023 due to administrative reasons.

Therefore, the consumers of SV Puram electricity distribution company are requested to pay the same amount paid in January for the month of March.

Similarly, due to administrative reasons, the electricity calculation for the month of March 2023 could not be done for perumal puthur distribution connections under the Komaralingam divisional office.

Therefore, the consumers of Perumal Puthur distribution will have to pay the same electricity bill paid in January last year for the month of March.
