Power outage in Udumalpet sub-station areas on Feb. 9

The Electricity Board has informed that there will be no power supply from 9 am to 4 pm on February 9 since maintenance work will be carried out in areas under the Udumalpet sub-station area on Thursday.


Tirupur: The Electricity Board has announced that power supply will be suspended in Udumalpet town, Palani Road, Thangammal Odai, Ragalbavi, Sundakkampalayam and surrounding areas on Thursday.

Since maintenance work will be carried out in areas under the Udumalai sub-station area in Tiruppur district from 9 am to 4 pm on February 9, surrounding areas like Udumalpet town, Palani Road, Thangammal Odai, Ragalbavi, Sundakkampalayam, R Vellore, Ganapathypalayam, Venasappatti, Thottampatti, Eripalayam, Pukkulam, Kurunjeri, Chinnaveerampatti, Shankar Nagar, GandhiNagar 2, Sindhunagar, Sriram Nagar, Jeeva Nagar, Government Arts College area, Bodipatti, Pallapalayam and Kurichikottai will face power outage.

There will also be no power supply in Pallapalayamaccording to a press release issued by the Udumalai Executive Engineer, Moorthy.
