Indian Vice President visits Coimbatore - Traffic control on Avinashi Road announced by the Metropolitan Police!

Traffic has been diverted on Avinashi Road following the arrival of Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu tomorrow to attend an event in the Nilgiris.



The Nilgiris: Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu will arrive at the Coimbatore airport tomorrow (Saturday) at 5 pm to attend an event in the Nilgiris.

From there he goes by car to the guest house. Heavy vehicles are not allowed on Avinashi Road in the city from 5 pm to 7.30 pm ahead of the Vice President's travel plan. Also, those going to the airport, bus station, train station and other emergency jobs are advised by the metropolitan police to plan their itinerary in advance.

Similarly, on May 15 (Sunday) from Coimbatore Government Guest House, the Vice President will travel to the Ooty region by car via the airport and Kalapatti.

Heavy vehicles will not be allowed on these routes from 6.30 am to 9 am on Avinashi Road and Kalapatti Road to avoid traffic jams. It is noteworthy that the notice issued by the Metropolitan Police states that travelers to important work should plan their travel plans in advance.
