Chennai-Coimbatore Intercity delay revoked; Trains to be operated at usual time

The Salem Divisional Railways has reversed the announcement that there will be a delay in trains including the Coimbatore-Chennai Intercity.


Coimbatore: The announcement that some of the regular trains will run late between Coimbatore-Chennai owing to the construction of double tracks has been withdrawn by the Salem Railway Division.

The Ernakulam-Bangalore Intercity, Coimbatore-Chennai Central Shatabdi, Coimbatore-Chennai Intercity Express trains which had been announced to leave late will now operate at usual timings from April 23.
