Unclaimed vehicles auction to be held on 29th March in Coimbatore

The Coimbatore North Regional Transport Officer has stated that the vehicles seized by the regional transport officers that remain unclaimed will be auctioned on the 29th of March


Coimbatore:The auction for unclaimed vehicles seized by RTOs will be held on 29th March.

The Coimbatore North Regional Transport Officer, T Sivagurunathan has stated that the vehicles seized by the regional transport officers for traffic violations, non-payment of taxes, that remain unclaimed will be auctioned on the 29th of March.

The press release issued by the RTO stated that 72 vehicles seized by transport officers and motor vehicle inspectors for various offences including non-payment of taxes and violations in Coimbatore have been parked at Coimbatore North Regional Transport Office (RTO), and since they remain unclaimed, will be auctioned as per the Transport Commissioner circular.

Public interested in purchasing these vehicles can receive applications from 16th to 24th March at The North Regional Transport Office, by paying an application fee of Rs 500. The deed should be submitted directly to the Coimbatore North Regional Transport Office by 5 pm on 25th March, attaching the bank draft for Rs 10,000 along with the application.

The account holders with the present GST ill only be allowed for bidding and the vehicles can be visited on office days from 16th to 25th March.

The open air public auction will be held on 29th Marchat 11 am at the Thudiyalur North Regional Transport Office.
