IRCTC’s new train service between Coimbatore and Tirupati kick starts

The IRCTC’s new train service between Coimbatore and Tirupati, has been flagged off on the 8th of February which has been arranged for special darshan every week.


Coimbatore: The devotees and travellers are elated as IRCTC’s new train service between Coimbatore and Tirupati, which will run every week for the special darshan began service on the 8th of February, Tuesday.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has reported that a special darshan weekly train will run from Coimbatore to Tirupati on every Tuesday and began service from February 8.

An IRCTC press release has been issued that read, “Special darshan has been organized at Tirupati through a weekly special train service from Coimbatore. The travel will be facilitated with central government's corona prevention measures and security arrangements.”

“The ticket fare is at Rs 4,600 per person in A/C Coach and Rs 3,300 per person for normal seats. The itinerary includes Tirupati special darshan fee, food (vegetarian-morning and night), tour guide, accommodation with A/C rooms, bus fare etc. The train will run every Tuesday on Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpet and Katpadi route.”
